She sleeps beside me peacefully now.

I can't describe to you when someone knows they F%^&'d up. When they felt like the whole world they trampled on and threw away was worth gold. I can't describe to you how it feels to be Plan B... and love it. Most people would throw it away.

I cherish it.

There was a reason we failed. We did not fit. A square peg in a round hole.. Alcohol.

The girl I loved was selfish, manipulative, lying and cold.

So hurtful.

If you read my previous posts you may be in the same place.

I will write more later.

There is hope. One side or the other.

Thanks Hunter. Alot of people are in need of those words. When you do realize you are worth more, it is an awakening and you can really let go.

Not been on here often but you know I have kept up on your story....we all make and have made mistakes, its turning those mistakes around, working on fixing "you" and learning so you quit repeating them over and over again....thinking your going to get a "different", new result....

I am happy for you...I look forward to your update.

I will try to explain. Words do not do it justice. There have been too many hours of talking to compress them into this space.

I apologize to the hardcore members, as I have not been on as of late.

Remember that nothing in this life is black and white; and yet it is. If you check yourself out of a relationship, prepare for the other person to do the same. For some people they will repeat patterns the have chosen for their entire lives.

My best friend left me about a year ago.

She loved:
Her kids
Alcohol
Me

I loved:
Her
The kids
Alcohol

Humans are not altruistic. We do things that make us happy. Selfishly.

I came here a broken person in April of 2009, I left here in August a new person. I loved myself again. I knew I was amazing.

Am I better because I got back my best friend? Yes. But that is beside the point. I was prepared to leave her behind. I missed my friend. I didn't need her.

For those of you who wonder: Do they think of me?
They do.

Is that an iron-clad invitation to come back?

No.

Get to the point where you can decide. Its not life or death. You are the most important person. Make yourself happy and people will follow you.
