Crazy Night

So went out to the bar on saturday night. It was one of my friends bday. This is a local bar that I know my x hangs out at. So I go in and of course she is there with one of her friends. I play it cool and give her a kiss on the cheek and meet up with my friends. I was having good time not really caring that she was there. Saw some other girls from my past and had a good time catching up with them. Me and some of my boys were boozing before we got to the bar so I was feeling pretty nice. Well at some point things got ugly. To be honest with you I really dont even remember how it starting but I almost ripped this guys head off. He must be the new guy the x is with I really dont know. Ill I know is that it took three of my friends to wrestle me down and drag me out of the bar. I am usually such a laid back person but i was seeing red that night.

Anyways I get a text from my x saying she is sorry for everything that happened and wanted to get lunch with me the next day. I told her that there is no point and there is nothing to talk about. She said that she loved me and wanted. I told her i have heard it all before and her actions spoke loudder than her words. Then she texted me that I just dont understand and that she has had a bad year with her grandma passing. Then she texted i wish i would have died with my nini.(grandma). She said she knew she messed us up and should have realized what she had. Once again these are words i have heard so many times before.

The next day she texted me "sorry that had to happen last night. I wish you didnt say any of those nasty things about me in front of everyone when I was the one on your side." I did not respond.. This girl is so poisonious sucks that I do care about her.

Crazy night kind of glad I dont remember most of it. I know that I will never be going back to that bar though.

I really like how you've hold your ground in the "next morning" messages aftermath...smooth dodging between her bullsh*t ...gotta love the drama though, bad year, wishing she'd join her granny in the afterlife...but having fun with some chump after dumping you...imagine the pain. (all in all, untill she's the one hitting him with a bottle while you're head-locking him, she ain't really on your side ;) )

Of course she might have second thoughts LK ...she sees you as socially active getting your life back on track, even interacting with other women and getting good vibes in return, all without giving a damn if she's around or not....that's increased social value and will always equal a blow to a eager to toy with you dumper

Oh, for god's sake. Really? She's going to pull THAT overdramatic teenager attention getter? Yeesh. I take sucide threats VERY seriously, but only when they're real and NOT a histrionic, cheap manipulation thing.

Keep standing your ground, man. If she really wanted you back, she'd be an adult about it rather than trying to win you back with the sympathy card. But I agree with Mike that seeing you out and about and socially active (without HER) is the reason why she's suddenly so despondent and penitent about "how she messed things up."

Seriously, if you want me to go flick her in the forehead, I will gladly do it.

Sorry I'm late on this, but Mike & Kel have summed it up well. You've done well to stay strong mate. She certainly didn't like you been fine without her huh,.... ah it's a tough life when you make the decision and have to live with the consequences of that decision!

As for the suicide bs, she most certainly proves her self to quite the little attention seeker too. What a crock of childish sh!t.

Oh and if Kel ever does the 'flick' thing, I wanna watch, it sounds like fun!

She sounds like she needs some sad violin music playing in the background when she talks to you about these things, LK...how horrible it must be to have to be held accountable for your own decisions.

Also, Dan - it WOULD be fun! I can flick like no other!
