that maybe i don't have really bad luck. maybe i have really good luck because i've been in 2 accidents and haven't been hurt.

i got an email back from his sister this morning. she still has not owned any of her actions. BUT, i'm realizing that's not what matters. i have. i've owned anything i have done and things i don't even know that i've done to be hurtful. i have made myself feel better about me.

if he comes back and decides to have a relationship with me, it shouldn't be based on his family anyway. it should be based on me.

i'm still a little sad today, but i'll be okay. i feel better about myself and that truly is all that matters. sadness is just what comes with this kind of situation.

i keep repeating over and over that i deserve someone who appreciates me and someone who loves me for who i am, not for who other people think i am. why would i want to surround myself with someone who doesn't own his actions, let alone an entire family of people who don't own their actions?

You have stated it perfect "if/when he comes back it should be for me". The question for you to then ask yourself "what have we done while apart to help our relationship be stronger and successful in the future"?

his sister actually sent me another email saying she agrees with what i had to say and that she's sorry for hurting me also. she said that i am a strong, fun, outgoing person and people love me for that, so i'll be okay.

that actually made me feel really, really good.

i think that might be what they call closure for me.

and thats very good Suzie...taking each day as it comes, looking for the positives and focusing on "you" until you get thru the "healing" stage and getting you back is what its all about....trying to work too many things all at once gets very overwhelming and defeats our effort of trying....

I am glad his sister was able to set aside her differences and apologize for the hurt she has caused, maybe she is also on the road to becoming a better "her"!

Continue moving forward, staying positive and focusing on "you"!

I'm also glad his sister wrote you a good answer to your email. I know you were a little worried about it after you had send it. It was very mature of her to reply like that and I'm glad you two settled things.
