So I met this girl at a college party on Friday, we were flirting, complementing each other etc then I got her number. The next day she text me and told me to come to the dorm party on campus. I went and we danced, were drinking and were holding hands etc. Me, my friends, and hers went back to their dorm and we were flirting some more, hooking up (no sex) etc. Despite the fact that I just met this girl and it was a college party we actually hit it off kinda well, and they were talking about us coming back.
I've been single for just over 3 months after a long term relationship, so I'm not 100% used to this. That's why I'll go ahead and ask you all for some advice. I haven't talked to her in about 3 days, and I was wondering if I should text her or anything to keep the lines of communication open. Or just wait till the weekend comes around and see what shes up to?
Thanks!
Hey SuperDave, so I gave her a text on Friday to see what she was up to for the night, and we conversed back and forth for a little. But it eventually fizzled out and she didn't respond to my last text so I kept it at that.
She was a cool girl, but for some reason she must have just not been into me even though she certainly seemed like it!
If you like the girl, why not text her? Texting is just another form of communication and a lot of people prefer it over a phone call. You should start with a"radar" text letting her know you have her in your mind in a subtle way. When she responds, try and make a connection. After that, quickly ask her on a date. Don't overanalyze it. It's easier than you think.
