    Default Flirting

Ok, so I have been flirting with a guy at work. He's nice and nice looking. But we r both married. My hubby isn't being very affectionate, hasn't been for a while. This guy flirted with me and I was having a really **** day, so I flattered him and flirted back.

I want to be clear that this is just a work flirting thing. Nothing more than some fun. Nothing intends on ever happening. I guess it's just nice to feel like I can make someone's day...

What to do... I have told this I will stop if he says the word.

    Dear Vixen,

You already know why you are flirting and why you have asked this question here, you also know what you need to do.

"My hubby isn't being very affectionate, hasn't been for a while."

That's the reason and IMHO what you need to do, is to communicate to your husband, why is he not very affectionate, what is going on? Be patient, listen, don't interrupt and don't judge him by saying what he just said is wrong. Try to understand, repeat back a concise outline summary of what he says, to be sure you have understood.

Then ask him what he thinks or feels might be a good way to deal with this situation.

Love is like a house, it needs maintenance. Together you might decide you need to have a date night each week, where you spend some quality time getting to know each other again; or you might have other issues that need other resolutions.

From my POV the only real way to deal with your situation is to communicate honestly but gently with your husband and put the work into your love life.

    Good luck!
