    gosh!

this has been an unbelievable day and his speech was incredible. i feel so many people fear the change we need to become better and Obama has this way of making me feel at ease and making me feel comfortable with our future as a nation.

i honestly have never been more proud to be an american than i was today. Obama symbolizes in so many ways how far we've come and how far we can go to become better. he's so passionate - that's something that i've found to be slightly lacking in our past leaders. it's great to see a leader that really believes in the good of people and has an optimistic view.

i can't help but thank God for living in a country where we're free to choose and where we're free to grow.

I live and work in the Toronto area and everyone in the office was glued to the Inauguration on their PC or TV in the hallways (I work for a CDN national TV station so there are screens everywhere lol). I was so moved and motivated by his speech, I actually wished I was in DC today. I've been an Obama fan for a while now and cannot wait to see what he does while in office. God Speed Obama
