Man Arrested For Putting Cat In Bong OMAHA, Neb., March 1, 2009  <-- The Moron(AP) A man who tried to cool out his hyper cat by stuffing her into a boxlike homemade bong faces cruelty charges - and catcalls from animal lovers. Lancaster County sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic disturbance call Sunday alleged they saw 20-year-old Acea Schomaker smoking marijuana through a piece of garden hose attached to a duct-taped, plastic glass box in which the cat had been stuffed. "This cat was just dazed," Sgt. Andy Stebbing said. "She was on the front seat of the cop car, wrapped in a blanket, and never moved all the way to the humane society."  <--The CatSchomaker told deputies 6-month-old Shadow was hyper and he was trying to calm her down. The contraption she had been stuffed inside was 12 inches by 6 inches. Shadow was timid but in good condition Monday at the Capital Humane Society, executive director Bob Downey said. "What the human mind doesn't invent, huh?" Downey said. Schomaker, who was released from jail after paying a $400 fine on the arrest warrant, faces drug and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. | I had a glass of some alcoholic beverage once that my cat stuck his face in and sniffed. He jerked his head back and looked at me like he was completely disgusted with me for drinking such an abomination. This coming from the cat who drinks out of the toilet and licks tuna juice out of the sink. But seriously - is Omaha THAT boring? Couldn't he just harvest some grain and make bread or something like you're supposed to do in that region of the United States? | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Sure he was trying to "calm the cat". I have this image in my head that he and five of his friends were sitting around in a circle like on "That 70's Show" and it all started with the phrase.."Ya know what would be funny..." It all went downhill from there... What I am wondering...HOW THE HELL did he get caught? Did the Dog call 911? Kinda of like Brian from 'Family Guy'? Dog to 911 Operator: "Hello 911? I would like to file a 'Cruelty to Animals" report? This is the house Dog calling." 911 operator: "Did you say this is the 'House Dog'calling?" | Too many stupid things happen when people ask, "Hey, dude, wouldn't it be funny if..." My dad read an article about some guy who thought it'd be funny if he put a lighter up to his cow's bum when it farted. Apparently, when he did it, the cow exploded and he died in the blast.
